COVID-19 Prevention Measures

We wish to inform you of the following procedures that will be implemented from 4th May 2020 and have to be strictly complied with for your safety and those of others to protect against the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

• It is mandatory to wear a face mask in all the common areas of the world trade Center;
• Entry to the building will not be permitted to personnel without face masks;
• All personnel are required to sanitize their hands prior to entering the building by using the washing facility or hand sanitizers that are provided at all entry points;
• Temperature and security checks will be conducted on everyone prior to permitting entry to the building;
• Upon entering the building all persons are required to maintain social distancing by following the ground markings provided;
• During peak hours, Security personnel will control entry to the up-riding escalators leading to levels 2 and 3 ensuring social distancing is maintained at all times;
• While queuing for lifts, you are required to stand and move only along the ground markings and demarcated queues;
• The floor within the lift has been marked with locations and directions passengers must face. Signage has also been provided in the lift lobbies to illustrate this arrangement;
• Similar arrangements have been put in place for those entering the lifts from the basement carpark as well as lifts serving the lower block;
• A maximum of 9 passengers will be permitted in the tower lifts and 6 passengers in the car park and low block lifts;
• Access has been provided to the fire exit staircases of each tower from level 3. Those who wish to use the stairs to get to their floor may do so by informing security personnel at hand who would escort you directly to the staircases;
• When boarding the lifts from individual tower floors, the floor markings within the lift must be strictly observed. If all the marked spots within the lift are occupied, you must wait for the next available lift;
• When exiting the building, you are required to use the stairs from level 3 through to level 1, and exit the building through the East or West loading bays while at all times maintaining social distancing. Signage has been provided for guidance;
• Those who are proceeding to the carpark should proceed as normal by walking across the level 3 lobby and use the escalator or stairs to reach the carpark lifts;
• Whenever you are in the common areas which includes all lobby areas, corridors on your floor, washrooms, retail and restaurant areas, the car park etc, it is mandatory to wear a face mask and maintain social distancing at all times.;
• You are also recommended to regularly use the hand sanitizers provided in common areas;

We understand that these procedures will cause inconvenience and delays. However, they have been put in place to safeguard your health and those of others around you.
